Nathan founded SunRaise Capital to solve a structural problem he witnessed firsthand: the residential solar market generates strong unit economics, but the capital stack that funds it remains fragmented, opaque, and misaligned. Before SunRaise, Nathan led the build-out of IGS Solar's residential division starting in 2016, growing it to 150MW and $600M in managed assets. Over his career, he has been directly involved in deploying more than $3 billion into solar energy infrastructure across residential, commercial, and utility-scale segments.
A licensed Chemical Engineer (P.E.) by training, Nathan brings an engineer's discipline to financial structuring. He designed SunRaise's origination engine to embed the capital provider's required return directly into pricing at the point of sale, eliminating the downstream misalignment that creates risk in conventional models.
He currently serves on the Board of SunVena Solar, one of the fastest-growing residential solar installers in the Southeast. At SunRaise, he is building a distributed platform that gives capital providers, installers, and homeowners a shared system of record with transparent governance across the full asset lifecycle.
